How do you top an uber pack of 500 Reaktor Blocks modules? Why with 700 modules of course! Nano Pack 2 covers every function you can think of and more.
Nano Pack 2
It’s a bit nutty but Toybox Audio has done a module on everything. This Nano Pack is packed with… everything, all done in this quite minimal and functional style that focuses on the task rather than the pizazz.
All the modules from the original pack are there plus over 150 new ones. There are also versions in the new Macro format that can be used for building your own polyphonic modules within Reaktor using “Container” blocks.
Some of the new modules include a 4-Operator FM block, Wavetable synth, Physical modelling, Chord modules, sequencers, a convolution reverb and a whole bunch of drum sound sources. With 150 new modules it’s impossible to mention them all but you’ll find all 700 listed on their website if you enjoy a bit of scrolling.
All the previous features remain like the snapshot system and the easy mapping. And don’t be fooled by the minimal looks they do come alive with animated waveforms and modulations when given half the chance. As before there’s a danger of being overwhelmed by choice because one of the things that makes modular different is the inbuilt limitations of hardware and space. Software breaks with this idea which isn’t always helpful. However, with this pack in your arsenal, you’ll always be able to find that certain module to fill and fit a purpose.
Nano Pack 2 is a free update to existing users and on a special of $45 if you’d like to take it on for the first time.
